What would people be surprised to know about you? Not much would surprise other people about me. I tend to be very open in my views and activities.
Philosophy
One of my favorite personal mantras is that if something needs doing, do it now, and I do. I've discovered that procrastination takes the joy out of life. It creates a burden to carry that, ultimately, makes the task drudgery and the product stale.

10 Tips from Jolyn Wells-Moran
Humor and Health
Researchers say that laughter seems to have a similar cardiovascular effect as aerobic activity. Don't replace aerobic activity, but engage in humor and you'll increase blood flow. Researchers suggest 15 minutes of laughter per day.
Sex is Healthy
Sex is good exercise, helping the heart, lungs, muscles, circulation and more; helps maintain an intimate relationship, and such relationships appear to prolong the lives of a significant number of people; may help with the creation of new brain cells; and, most certainly, sex increases satisfaction with life.
Healthy Thoughts
Our thoughts trigger our emotions and behavior. We're capable of creating more positive thoughts to replace the ones that aren’t working for us if we're mindful of our thinking.
Optimism and Health
Optimism and a sense of control in one’s own life broaden our awareness of options that may be healthier for us and may even promote recovery, reduce pain or prolong life in certain cases of illness.
Anger is a Symptom
Anger is a symptom that there's something you need to think carefully about. Go ahead and feel it, but find articulate and nonviolent ways to express it. Then, do some deep thinking to find out if the thoughts that led to your anger were valid. If they were, express them clearly, even if it means writing down those thoughts and how you felt.
Water--Based Oil Colors
Water-based oil colors dry more quickly, don't smell as bad, are healthier to use and can produce the same quality of lustrous color and texture as traditional oil colors. They don't require turpentine, so mixing with water and cleaning brushes and drips is easy.
The Pain that Fades
The pain of divorce fades with time if the divorced person will allow it. It may feel like a horrible death for months, but if the person focuses on making each day a lttle better, the pain will subside.
Unconditional Love Thy Name is Dog
Everyone needs to be loved and to love. Perhaps there's no one better to teach us how to love than a dog. They love us almost no matter what we do, and in return, we learn to give love without reservations. There is no better remedy for loneliness than a dog.
Freelance Writing Opportunities at All-Time High
If you can string together a grammatical sentence, research and summarize information, discipline yourself to learn your craft and stay consistently on top of the markets and respond to them, you can enjoy the freedom and creativity of being a freelance writer. It's also important to understand that it will take at least two years to support yourself with a middle-class income, unless you're exceptionally lucky.
Misconceptions About Psychology and Psychology Degrees
Psychology is an extremely broad field. Most people with psychology degrees do not become psychologists: That takes about 10 to 12 years of college. Instead, most people with psychology degrees work in teaching, management, human services or use their psychology degrees as foundation for other degrees and careers.
