Psychology Job Settings

All Psychology Schools Tip: One way to discover if a career in psychology is good for you is to do some volunteer work in settings where you think you might like to work. Read about Psychology and where people trained in Psychology work too. Another way is to see a career counselor for some exploration of your preferences, capacities and the possibilities in the field: This can also help you determine if a career in psychology is right for you. Don't make your choices too narrow at this point, though. Once you're in a Psychology education program, you can refine your ideas and will have many opportunities to decide on the kind(s) of Psychology you'll pursue both academically and in your career, as well as the settings and populations you'd prefer. You'll also learn much more about the field and your own interests and capacities as you progress in college.
